"Venues for Hire"    The Round Chapel and Old School Rooms The Old School Rooms are located next to the Round Chapel with access from Powerscroft Road. The building contains a number of rooms of varying sizes which are available for hire. Hall The hall is a lovely large space and can be easily adapted for multiple uses, such as for lectures and public meetings, exhibitions, church services and community gatherings, yoga, aerobics and dancing classes, wedding receptions, parties and banquets. It has beautiful wooden floors and lots of natural light, and can be hired empty, or with a range of other furniture and equipment. · Unseated function capacity: 200 – 220 · Theatre-style seated capacity: 180 · Seated at tables capacity: 100 – 120 · Cabaret-style dining capacity: 70 · Choice of tables and chairs available · Lectern and chairman’s table available · PA system available (extra charge) · Modern kitchen and catering facilities · Piano · Disabled access Church Room Christian groups have been meeting in the Church Room since 1871, and it is available for regular worshippers, prayer groups and choirs as well as wedding ceremonies, workshops, meetings and training days. The room is also well adapted for conferences and board meetings, particularly when used in conjunction with our on-site catering service. · Unseated function capacity: 90 – 100 · Theatre-style seated capacity: 65 – 80 · Tables and chairs included in booking price · Small chairs available for toddlers · Lectern · Good acoustics · Fixed screen for presentations · Piano Meeting Room This is an excellent meeting space for user groups and housing associations, meetings, workshops and training days, and neighbourhood or special interest groups. Great for after school classes or Saturday school use. · Theatre-style capacity: 30 - 35 people · Ideal size for classes of up to 25 learners · Tables and chairs included in booking price · Screen for presentations · Kitchen facilities available Kitchen A semi-professionally equipped kitchen, available for hire with any of the Old School Rooms, or with the Round Chapel. General Information - The building has disabled access - use the second entrance along Powerscroft Road, take the ramp down to the back door, and use the lift Round Chapel Auditorium The Round Chapel, which fronts Lower Clapton Road, is a landmark grade II* building, admired for its beauty, impressive design and sheer volume.
