At the end of our theme entitled 'I believe', we were asked to write some of our deeply held beliefs on cards, which were then read out anonymously. This is what we wrote. This is not 'Feast's Creed', such a thing would be absurd, but the beliefs of many individuals within feast.

I believe Jesus is doing something beautiful with my life - ( in spite of myself sometimes) - Praise God!
I Believe that God speaks to people today and that we are his "hands and feet"
I believe in love. In falling in love. In loving thy neighbour. In loving my enemies. In loving my Gd. Just Love
I believe in sitting around a table with a bunch of people you love and trust for a meal.
I believe that "man" was made in the image and likeness of God. That "man" was made in a state where "men" are no longer. That Jesus was from, and is of God. That Jesus came to restore us to that state of "life" with, and in God. Only through Jesus can we have that life with God.
I believe in the power of love to transform lives.
I believe in a loving creator who breathes life into us & speaks to us through all of creation. In justice - a leveller of power, material wealth and oppertunity. In Jesus - a human being who shows us truth through his life, not a neat list of statements.
I believe that beauty heals
I believe Jesus is my way to God
I believe in the smell of coffee early in the morning, in the scatter of birds in a gun-metal sky, in the edge of a building seen from a window, in unspoken words, in late night washing up, in hills in the distance, in the sound of rain on the skylight, in the uncertainty of rope bridges across fast-flowing streams.
I believe in that which is beyond words
I believe that we are an unbelieving and perverse generation!
I believe that the spirit of God is everywhere and she is beautiful.
I believe in the beauty of Jesus
I believe we need to learn to listen for only so can we hear the voice of God
I believe Jesus died for me. His example of speaking through action I hope shapes my life
I believe the core of christianity is to love God and to lve your neighbour. These 2 commandments are inseperable.
I believe that God is un us and between us and works with us and through us to bring his kingdom.
I believe that I have a responsibility towards those around me, particularly those in need.
I believe in a God who loves me and waits for me to turn to him with patient, open arms.
I believe there is no peace without justice
